Author Guidelines – JCIET
Journal of Computing Innovations and Emerging Technologies

JCIET is an online, peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on the latest innovations and emerging technologies in computing and information engineering. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners worldwide.

General Guidelines for Authors:

  • Manuscript Template and Submission
Authors are required to prepare their manuscript using the official JCIET template and submit it through our online submission system. Only manuscripts that follow the JCIET formatting guidelines will be considered for peer review.

  • Originality Requirement
Submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been previously published, and are not under review by other journals.

  • Citation and Reference Management
Authors must use Mendeley (or any other reference manager that supports BibTeX/CSL) for managing citations and references, using a consistent citation style as required by the journal (IEEE style).

  • Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin. The similarity index must not exceed 25%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected outright.

  • Peer Review Process
All submissions will undergo a peer-review process by experts in the relevant field. Evaluation will be based on originality, clarity of presentation, contribution to the field, and scientific relevance.

  • Review Timeframe Commitment
As part of our commitment to prompt publication, the editorial team aims to complete the review process within four weeks. If authors do not receive any notification after this period, they are encouraged to contact the editorial office via email.

  • Open Access and Article Processing Charges
JCIET is an open-access international journal, allowing unrestricted access to all published articles. To support the dissemination of knowledge, JCIET does not charge any submission or publication fees (free submission and publication charges).
